My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Flood Risk Engineering, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Liverpool.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing flood risk assessments and have experience completing hydraulic modelling preferably using Flood Modeller.

It is beneficial for applicants to live locally.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water and 1D/2D Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, House Builders and Local Authorities. You will also have the opportunity to receive training in Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro.
