Embedded Software Engineer – Surrey – Salary up to £60,000 + Benefits – Ref 227
I am currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Surrey. Salary up to £60,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are leaders within their field internationally and now employ close to 40 people on a permanent basis. They have grown from strength to strength year on year and continue to move in the right direction at this very exciting time where they find themselves transitioning from R&D / Prototype stage into the commercialisation of their state of the art product.
To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint an Embedded Software Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as an Embedded Software Engineer you will focus predominately on new product development projects but will also be expected to support some of the organisations more legacy based product lines. Whilst the majority of your time will be developing robust and resaleable code in Embedded C for a range of microcontrollers, you must have a good understanding of how the software interfaces with the hardware and how your design choices affect the overall system. Whilst there will be support and guidance you must be self sufficient and able to work under your own supervision with minimal hand holding.
- At least 2 years’ experience
- Experience with Embedded C/C++
- Experience with communication protocols
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to work for a highly regarded organisation who are working with cutting edge technology on a range of fascinating projects. They have a brilliant working environment and there will be plenty of opportunities to progress and develop internally as you and the business develop.
