Job Title: Electrical Build Technician

Location: Yatton, Bristol

Job Type: Contract
Hourly rates: £13.53 per hour PAYE or £18.18 per hour (Umbrella)

Rotating Shift Patterns
Half days on Fridays
Opportunity for a permanent position

About the opportunity:
You will be part of a great team, working within a modern and clean environment, producing high end special purpose machinery for the Semi-Conductor Industry.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Panel & machine wiring
*Wiring various types of control panels and special purpose machinery.
*You must be able to read and understand schematics.
*Previous experience of control panel wiring, working with MCB's, Contactors, Relays, Inverter Drives & PLC's is essential for this role.
*You will be wiring the control panels following engineering drawings and schematics.

Key Skills:
*Lead Free Soldering
*Cable assembly to IPC-A-620 standards
*Ability to solder on various connectors such as d-types
*Loom & harness wiring
*Point to point wiring, cable crimping & terminating work
*Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics (very important)
Due to the nature of the work, candidate must not be colour blind (very important)


Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
16th/17th Edition Electrical qualification
HNC/HND in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
City & Guilds in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
Any other relevant electrical engineering qualifications
