The role is for a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to machine large forming & die components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances. You will be programming, setting & operating a Heidenhain CNC machining centre to machine these components from scratch using various metals.
- Producing small batch large and heavy components for a die & forge manufacturing business.
- Programming, setting & operating a CNC Milling machine using Heidenhain controls.
- Inspect your own work and act as a key member of the business and driving it forward.
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes; Preferably you will have at least two years of experience in a similar role and must be able to programme, set and operate CNC mills from engineering drawings to machine components which are heavy and large in size using Heidenhain controls at the machine. Any previous experience in offline programming using NCG CAM and/or Solidworks would be extremely advantageous!
