Associate Structural Engineer

£50,000 + (negotiable)

Akton are currently recruiting for an Associate Structural Engineer to join a leading Engineering Consultancy in Manchester.

The Role:

Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion
Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint
Supporting and developing junior staff members
Have a good understanding of British Standards and Euro Codes as well as UK Building regulations

Be proficient in the use of the following software:
Tekla Tedds
Tekla Building Designer
AutoCAD
A basic knowledge of Revit
Microsoft Office

Your Experience

Educated to degree level as a minimum, ideally a Masters Degree
You will be chartered or approaching chartered status
You will have a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Have a strong project history within large developments and having worked examples of these:
Demonstrate experience in the following sectors -
Industrial / Logistics
Hotels
Residential
Offices
Public Sector
