This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and intelligent individual to join their expanding team as Contracts Manager (Midlands-North). Work directly with the Operations Director managing Water Management contracts valued £10K - £5M carrying out Groundwater Control, Geothermal Open Loop Schemes, Water Abstraction Schemes, Pumping Tests & Surface Water Management Schemes covering the Midlands, Wales, North of England and Scotland. Primarily office based but requiring regular site visits.
Duties will include;
*Ensure technical delivery of projects
*Manage site activities
*Act as project team leader on several projects simultaneously
*To maintain a documentary record
The right candidate will be an intelligent and dynamic individual who wants to develop their career further within this progressive organisation;
*Project/Contract Management Experience
*A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
*Comprehensive understanding of Civil Engineering, Hydrogeology or Engineering Geology
*The ability to plan and organise own workload as well as that of the team
*Strong managerial skills
*Experienced in contract negotiations and dispute resolution
*Good understanding of construction industry contracts
