As a structural engineer at STAAC, you will be helping us understand our client’s situation by visiting their location, surveying their site and passing on your analysis in a clear way to your friendly colleagues.
● Visiting clients’ sites
● Surveying the sites’ structural integrity and understanding load paths
● Identifying any potential problems or concerns
● Completing a site inspection report in a clear way
● Liaising with contractors, designers and architects
● Agreeing on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
The respected structural engineer we’re looking for is willing to push the business forward with their expertise, go above and beyond and get well rewarded.
Are you awesome at performing structural surveys, evaluating the condition and potential difficulties or problems on the particular site?
Do you have a good eye for detail, but can also work well with contractors that may not be as technically proficient? (For us, this is a must.)
Most importantly, are you someone who is practical, can survey a site, quickly grasp any potential difficulties and understand what needs to be done next?

● Salary £25,000 - 40,000; depending on experience
● Start as Soon as Possible
● Petrol covered at 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles (AMAP)
● Work-related equipment expenses are also covered.
