Opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a company specialised in audio and music technology products which are used in recording studios all over the world.

Joining the skilled R&D team, you'll work on product designs from concept to final delivery, including prototyping, ergonomic design, sourcing materials, managing BOMs, environmental testing, and managing the transition to production.

This is an ideal role for a Design Engineer who has a bit of experience behind them and would like to specialise in audio technology, or a graduate from a sandwich/placement engineering degree looking for a way into product design.

The Role:
-Building and developing prototypes and sub-assemblies
-Sourcing materials
-Managing BOMs
-Improving DFM and product designs
-Environmental testing

The Person:
-Production or engineering background, or degree with hands-on experience / placement year
-Ability to read engineering drawings and build assemblies
-Skilled in CAD, soldering, looming, mechanical and metalwork fabrication
-Knowledge of circuits and component types
-Interest in music or audio technology
