We are eager to recruit an experienced Import/ Export Coordinator to work for a Global Engineering organisation, establishing an Import/ Export department and processes.
This is a brand new and exciting opportunity, for a candidate who has worked and gained their experience in road imports and/or exports and is looking for the next step in their career.
Actively involved in the day-to day operation of a busy organisation. Also responsible for meeting with internal customers, growing and building strong working relationships, handling any issues that may arise as well as driving the role forward through proactive customer service and commercial activities.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who has experience, who can advise the organisation and develop the next steps for the business. A positive and energetic approach to work, excellent customer service and communication skills, with a passion and desire to succeed.
Experience required:
- You need experience within Import & Export
- You need to be a self-motivated
- Team player
- Excellent Communicator
What you will do:
- Working with the In-House system – SAP
- Arranging returns and FOC deliveries
- Monitor shipments
- Liaising with Freight Forwarders
- Process relevant Import / Export documentation
- Customs Clearance
- Handling all transactions relating to Import / Export
- Booking of shipments
- Advise and maintain Commodity Codes
- Monitor shipments
- Storing documentation
- Provide support to the Calibration Department for temporary inbound and outbound shipments.
