Lead R&D Engineer - Building Services - £50 to £70K + Package
I have a unique opportunity for a Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer to move away from design into a dedicated R&D role.
Reporting Directly to the CTO, you'll work closely with the Sustainability Engineers, MEP Design Engineers and also the Building Physics Engineers and undertake ground-breaking R&D work within the built environment.
Rather than just following what the rest of the industry is doing, you'll continue to use your research and technical skills and come up with new, quicker, more sustainable ways of designing buildings and facilities that will go on to set new industry benchmarks.
You'll also get a huge say in terms of what new technology or software to invest in; and seek to promote DfP and DfMA and automation across the built environment.
You'll receive full support from the business in terms of a new laptop, a large training and development budget and have easy access to the Senior Management board, all of whom are recognised industry leaders within the mission critical space.
- Degree qualified in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Previous experience in mission critical projects such as science and research facilities, labs, data centres or large-scale industrial projects.
- Able to present new ideas, concepts or technologies to internal and external client teams.
