Company Profile

An established, UK-based and world-renowned manufacturer of machine tools are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist, with experience in MillTurn / TurnMill and competent in G-code Programming Setting and Operating, to progress into a CNC Applications Engineer role.

They are willing to develop the right person, a competent machinist, with strong G-code programming knowledge, into an exciting Applications Engineer role. The successful candidate will work with customers and partners on and off site to implement and provide key product support.

Job Details

  • Implement and provide product support for customers and partners on and off site
  • Travel to customer locations to provide training, guidance and support on the machines
  • Typical each customer will be allocated 3 to 5days however this could be less or more depending on the customer requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Strong G code programming skills are a must
  • Proficient in the use of CNC Lathes, specifically with MillTurn / TurnMill machines
  • Good experience and competence in applications engineering required
  • Good at working with customers and partners to meet their needs
  • Ability to work flexibly to important deadlines

Hours

  • Dayshift
  • Hours depend on the customer opening hours
