Design Engineer required for a leading manufacturer of lifting equipment based in central London. This specialist provider is ideally looking for a Design Engineer with a Mechanical / Structural Engineering qualification and conversant with Solidworks CAD. The role will involve the full design process, from design concept, manufacturing and testing.

The Role
Design and analysis of bespoke lifting equipment and fabrications to International design codes, utilising Solidworks CAD
Bespoke design for manufacturing
Complete BOM's
Client concept drawing analysis
Production of engineering calculations, 3D modelling drawings and stress analysis
Redesign of existing products


Requirements
Previous experience as a Design Engineer
Mechanical / Structural Engineering qualification
Fully conversant with Solidworks CAD
Experience producing engineering drawings, calculations and simulated test reports
Experience working with steel structures, sheet metal, fabrication, stress analysis, material handling, access platforms or similar
Commutable to central London
