Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

An international multi-disciplinary consultancy has an immediate requirement for a senior level mechanical design engineer to join their growing building services team in their Birmingham office to take a lead role in the successful delivery of prestigious national and international projects.

They are looking for an experienced and client-focused mechanical building services specialist to join the team and play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions.

You would be working across a variety of sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Residential, and Retail, taking a lead role in a team of specialist engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

You should be educated to a minimum of degree level in Building Services Engineering, and have gained substantial experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (Ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems etc).

You should have a demonstrable portfolio of experience showing your familiarity with high quality engineering solutions and a client-focused approach.
