We are looking for an experienced CNC Wood Machinist who has previous experience on a 5-axis router. The following position requires someone who can hit the ground running, making it essential that any applications have previous machining experience.
This is a permanent position with competitive pay available with overtime @ increased rates.
As a CNC machinist you will working in a large manufacturing company on residential, commercial, restorations and bespoke products. The company is one of UK's leading fit out manufacturers and boasts a state-of-the-art facility, with fantastic benefits. The company are based in Hadleigh, Suffolk and are looking to start someone in the new year.
You must have previous experience operating a CNC 5 axis router. Ideally you will have worked on a HOMAG but this is not essential.
You will also be expected to be familiar with other standard machinery in a joinery shop, this includes but is not limited to spindle moulders, routers, saws, band saw, drum sanders etc.
Hours are 07:30 17:00, Monday - Thursday with an earlier finish on a Friday.
Other candidate requirements include:
- NVQ / apprenticeship in Joinery or Carpentry
- Able to read and work from technical drawings
- Work experience in a woodwork environment
- Ideally have experience setting and operating 3 and 5 axis routers (desirable)
- Own transport due to the company's location
