We have vacancies for talented Multi Skilled Engineers at our wonderful site in Selsey, right near the beach and at our Drayton site which is based on the Chichester Food Park.

A day in the life of our Engineers:

We use some FMCG cutting edge technology here, as well as some more longstanding bits of kit, so you will be working with robotics and automation, alongside standard manufacturing machinery - so you'll need to be flexible and eager to learn and develop your existing skills to meet the needs of your site.

As a member of our dedicated Engineering team you will get stuck into project installations, Improvement works and general Repair & Maintenance within our food manufacturing environments.

Our engineers are self-managed, self motivated and don't shy away from solving problems. With a safety focus at the forefront of everything they do they're enthusiastic, energetic and eager to make a difference.

Role type: Permanent

Hours: Our Engineers work a great shift pattern that allows for an enjoyable work life balance:

2 week rolling Panama Shift Pattern - Every other weekend off (Fri, Sat & Sunday) and just a 2 day work week every second week!

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 6/7am - 6/7pm (days)

Week 2: Only working on Wednesday and Thursday 6/7am - 6/7pm (days)

Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 6/7pm - 6/7am (nights)

Week 4: Only working on Wednesday and Thursday 6/7pm - 6/7am (nights)

The team:

Our teams are diverse and include a mix of Apprentices, experienced Engineers, developers, Ex-Forces and people from a variety of industry backgrounds. Each site has an Engineering Manager to support and lead the way.

About you:

Ideally you will be multi-skilled, with both Electrical and Mechanical experience, however ideally electrically biased is great!

There are on-going learning and development opportunities to build your skillset to become a fully-fledged multi-skilled engineer. You will develop your competency to maintain both our standard and more advanced technology and machinery.

We are also interested in hearing from ex-military personnel with transferable skills that are interested in working within food manufacturing.

To make sure you've got all the tools to do the job you'll get full training on any skills gaps and all the equipment needed is supplied.

We will also give you an NWF Mentor and tailor-made objectives, on the job training, 1-2-1 coaching and site specific experiences come as part of the role and you'll be encouraged to develop yourself at every opportunity.

Our friendly on-site Engineering Trainer is also on hand to help you achieve your goals.
