Engineering Manager - Rail
Our client is a main contractor that works across the construction and infrastructure markets. They are close to securing a long term rail project in East London and need to take on an Engineering Manager to join the bid team and help secure this project.
On successful contract award, you will move forward and lead the engineering team for the delivery of this project, worth circa £30M, over the next two years.
Engineering Manager Duties:
·you will play a pivotal role in the successful development and implementation of rail projects.
·During the development stage your particular focus will be on influencing design organisations to develop designs that can be built efficiently and safely.
·During the implementation phases you will oversee the engineering and construction teams, ensuring the works are built right first time.
·You will be split between the office and site.
Engineering Manager Criteria:
·10 Years + experience in railway environment
·Past experience in major railway construction including operational depot
·Experience of ground settlement monitoring
·Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction or Related Discipline AND Member of a UK Body
