The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the technical leadership on a high profile and long- term project within the field of concrete products. You will support technology innovation, development and validation of the products. The Structural Engineer will undertake design, development and analysis work for concrete products working to Eurocode and CDM regulations and ensure the most effect Design-For-Manufacture routes are utilised. The Structural Engineer will work closely with the intended client base to ensure both technical and delivery metrics are achieved on the projects.
The Structural Engineer will possess a technically focused degree at a minimum of 2:1 level in addition to proven technical leadership within product development for the construction materials sector. You will ideally be a Chartered Engineer with IStructE or ICE or currently working along the development path to achieve this level. The Structural Engineer will possess good understanding of reinforced concrete, site construction and building design principles alongside excellent project management skills and demonstrate superb communication and flow of information across the relevant stakeholders.
