A multi-disciplinary design consultancy requires a Structural Engineer to join their team in London. The office is very high spec with a great working environment and based near Moorgate so very accessible.
There are currently 8 people in the Civil & Structural team and around 160 in the company as a whole, made up of Architects, Surveyors, Planners and Projects Managers.
The ideal candidate will have several years experience as a Structural Design Engineer. You must be experienced in the design of various different types of building structures, in concrete, masonry, steel and timber.
You will be working on a variety of projects, including residential, industrial and commercial projects. The projects range in size and involve complex engineering, sure to keep you interested and motivated.
You must be a 'go getter' and have the drive to lead and grow the civils team. The company are very commercially minded and will take your ideas for the direction of the business seriously.
I have met the Directors of the company in person and they emphasised the investment they will make in individuals, with regular training, including new software; they are incredibly forward thinking.
The salary is very competitive as well as a bonus scheme and regular socials.
