Quality Control Engineer - Circa £32k + Bonus - Day shifts

This is a chance for a Quality Control Engineer to work in a talented Quality Control team and help contribute to high quality products and help improve processes through implementing change. 

As a Quality Control Engineer you will join a growing company who are leading in their market. They place Quality at the heart of the business to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in assembly inspection and applying your Quality Engineering tools and mechanical engineering knowledge to ensure issues are picked up, resolved and future 

Keys Skills:

  • Time served Quality experience
  • Help achieve a total Quality ethos and Quality commitment to their customers
  • Continually improve the Quality of business processes & products
  • Help implement change
  • Strong knowledge of RCA, 8D and 5Y methods
  • Understanding of Process Control Techniques
  • Detailed working knowledge of mechanical engineering practices
  • Knowledge of one or more processes including: Machining, Fabrication, Welding, Casting or Heat treatments
  • Good ERP systems knowledge 
  • Quality Tools - PPAPs, FMEAs etc
  • Lean methods / DMAIC
  • Internal Auditing experience
  • Apprentice, NVQ / HNC or Degree background in Engineering

Nice to have:
CQI or IRCA training

To be successful as a Quality Engineer you will need to be highly organised, a self starter and have excellent communication skills.
