A rapidly growing manufacturing business, just North of Cardiff are now looking for a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their operation as part of their continued growth plans. This business currently runs 24/5 however this position will only be required to work day shifts. Your new role
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be reporting into the Maintenance Manager whilst working as a team of 3. You will be working Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm, currently there is no out of hours calls however due to growth plans this may be introduced in the future (12 months+). You will support the wider business with the CAPEX investments to ensure they're all operationally efficient as soon as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
to be successful in your application for this Mechanical biased Maintenance Engineer vacancy, you must have completed either a HNC or HND, if you are a time-served engineer then the business would be willing to review your application. It would be beneficial to have facilities experience in addition to machinery maintenance. It would be highly beneficial to have worked in a Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Chemicals or another related industry.
What you'll get in return
As the Maintenance Engineer, you'll earn a basic salary of between £30,000 and £35,000; dependent upon your experience. In addition to the luxurious working pattern, you'll be given 22days of annual leave which will grow by one per each year served. Furthermore, you'll be given a wide range of company benefits.
