Our client is a major Building and Civil Engineering Contractor operating throughout the UK
Due to an increasing workload, they now have a requirement for an experienced Submissions Manager to join the Pre-construction team in their Belfast office.
The role will be employed by their head office in Belfast, however the working location is flexible with the option to be located in their Belfast, Glasgow or London Office.
The successful candidate will report to Head of Submissions in Belfast.
The Submissions Manager will play a vital role in driving the work winning function
The successful candidate will work on the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender quality submissions.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities
Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability; Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems
Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions
Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions
Managing the clarification and RFI process; Proof-reading colleagues’ work
Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client interviews
Creating/updating the pre-construction library/standard marketing information
Attending site visits and participating in PQQ/Tender interviews
Degree level qualification ideally within a construction related discipline.
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong IT and creative presentation skills
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
Time management and prioritising workload
Ability to work on own initiative
Previous experience in the construction industry
