Mechanical Engineer

Adecco Poole's dedicated Engineering and Manufacturing recruitment team are delighted to be assisting one of our prestigious Manufacturing clients who supply to the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical and Electronics industries with their search for a Mechanical Assembly Engineer.

The role will be based in Wimborne and will initially be a 3 month contract.

Role and Requirements

The main function of this position is to assemble and build complex assemblies and bespoke machinery.

You will work within a team environment and also solo on different sections of the assembly so communication and team work is a key skill. You will also need to be a strong problem solver, demonstrate very good attention to detail and will work in a logical and tidy way.

Strong skills and working knowledge within mechanical engineering / fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring in units and machining parts is essential due to varied builds.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to work from drawings and client specifications.


This role is paying between £15 and £20 p/h depending on experience.
