We are looking for someone to deliver a wide variety of construction and maintenance projects from inception to completion. We are seeking an engineer with a background in technical design (e.g. highways, maritime, or buildings) and some previous experience of supervising works on site. 

Working collaboratively within our engineering team and with our wider stakeholders, you will successfully deliver civils and structures projects within the port’s operational environment – responsible for managing quality, safety, and finances. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the desire to learn.

We actively encourage candidates working towards chartership and can offer mentoring and support in preparation for sign-off and professional review.

Civil Engineer Requirements:

  • BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or similar, with 2-3 years post-graduate experience
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • A demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulations
  • Full diving licence and use of own transport
  • Must have right to work in the UK
