The Role:

A leading food manufacturer is recruiting for a Engineering Manager to join its growing function. You will be accountable for ensuring that the machinery and working practices are to the highest standards and will define and implement the site engineering strategy. You will lead a large team of engineers and will be responsible for their development as part of the senior leadership team. You will oversee the prioritising of all day to day maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure the efficiency of production is not affected. Any experience of efficiency and improvement projects will be beneficial for this position.


As Engineering Manager you will hold a relevant engineering qualification as well as experience from an FMCG environment. You should have been responsible for leading and developing teams with the ability to lead and engage multi-functional teams. You should have the ability to challenge current working methods in order to drive a continuous improvement mindset onsite.

The Package:

The salary for the Engineering Manager will be £45,000 + Benefits with a weekend days shift pattern.

This role will be based in Preston.
