Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £33,500 OTE: £36,000

Shifts: Working 4 days out of 7 only (12-hour shifts)

Benefits: Competitive salary and lots of overtime.

Location: Calthwaite, Penrith


A market leading Engineering company are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to add to their team at their modern site based in Calthwaite, Penrith.  The hours are working 4 days only out of 7 (12-hour shifts). The successful Maintenance Engineer will need to come from any Manufacturing or Distribution background.

This Maintenance Engineer will be joining a leader in its field and one that offers variety in their working day and a clear progression route should this be their aspiration. They also offer stability in todays market with production remaining the same.                         

Maintenance Engineer key skills / qualifications:  

Industry – Must come from any Production or Manufacturing background.


Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery both mechanically and electrically.

  • If you are Mechanically biased or Multi-skilled, you will be working on bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, sensors.

  • If you are Electrically biased or Multi-Skilled, you will be working on single & 3 phase motors, sensors, drives, relays, contactors, invertors.
