Job Role: Graduate Engineer

Location: Nottingham

Salary: DOE

Duration: Permanent position

Responsibilities for the successful Graduate Engineer:

  • Design and Checking of engineering solutions.
  • Promote safe working practices in all areas.
  • Assist change and develop more efficient processes and design tools to assist the efficient delivery of engineering services.
  • Production of clear, consistent, referenced calculations, reports and sketches.
  • Design representative at meetings with the project team and/or external Clients and Stakeholders.
  • Ensure work is delivered within the team's financial, quality and programme targets.

Requirements for the successful Graduate Engineer:

  • Housing sector experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Design civil engineering works
  • Knowledge and understanding of the design process, and engineering drawing practices
  • BEng / BSc Degree level of education, or equivalent
  • CSCS card
  • Previous experience or substantial understanding of civil engineering, structural engineering and geo-technical engineering principles
  • Previous experience or substantial knowledge of the estimating and design sectors
