The company:

A leading manufacturer and supplier in building products, with a vast amount of experience behind them and a very large varied product range supplying customers all over the world.

The role:

This role will be based solely in the Design and Development side to the business, reporting to the Technical Manager and responsible for a small team.

The Lead Designer will be responsible for taking products from concept through to launch and supporting the whole design journey template creation, 3D modelling and Parametric Modelling.

Ideal transferable experience will be from large static structures.
 

Qualifications Required:

HND, Degree and or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering 

Skills / Experience Require:

3D Modelling
Parametric Modelling
3d CAD experience,
Inventor, Navis, Revis - MUST HAVE
FEA Calculations experience
Knowledge of UK Building standards (Ideally, not essentially)

The Candidate:

This role will suit an Higher intermediate – Senior Mechanical Engineer / Designer, who has experience with above requirements, ideally experience with the construction industry and or manufacturing for construction.

This position will manage two Engineers, the ability and experience of leading and developing a team is a must for this position, equipped with the ability to work stand alone and be a decision maker.
