Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00, Friday 08:00 to 13:00

Design Engineer looking for a varied role required for a well-established company who are market leaders in what they do. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company who have an impressive rate of staff retention. To apply for this role you will have experience creating sheet metal designs within a fan systems/HVAC or a closely related industry. You must have experience of creating 2D and 3D designs using either Inventor or SolidWorks. Candidates with any experience or understanding of fan systems will hold a considerable advantage.

The successful candidate will work within a small team developing new product ranges. This will involve modifying and updating existing designs as well as creating bespoke designs to suit customer needs. You will work largely with sheet metal and will use Inventor to carry out 2D and 3D designs.

You will be involved in identifying suppliers, choosing parts as well as creating product documentation including assembly handbooks so this will be a really varied role!

The Design Engineer Role:

* 2D and 3D Design using Inventor
* Product Development – identifying suppliers, choosing parts etc.
* Working with Sheet Metal
* Bespoke and Re-modification Design

The Design Engineer:

* ANY Sheet Metal design background - fan systems/HVAC industry
* Experience using SolidWorks or Inventor
