About this Role:

A specialist piling contractor have been awarded major packages of work on HS2 in Central London, Birmingham and across the entire route of phase 1. Enabling works have begun and they are due to start the main works later this year consisting of major piling works to aid the construction of new stations, 500 bridging structures and the UK's longest viaduct (3.4km).

Work is commencing imminently and the project team require a Quantity surveyor to work on the fast paced construction of HS2. The company will be delivering up to £100m of piling works per annum over the next 4 years' across the route and major station upgrades.

*Site based opportunity in equipped compound on site, with easy access to the project.
*Commercial Management of projects by providing commercial support to ensure works recover their contractual entitlement,
*Manage risks and opportunities, and that projects are forecasted and reported accurately.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

*Degree in Quantity surveying or Civil Engineering or NVQ Level 6 in Construction or equivalent (desirable)
*Minimum of 2 years' experience within a civil engineering company

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
