Maintenance Engineer

up to £30K

Multi-skilled - Electrical and Mechanical

Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer required for a growing engineering company near Nottingham. Working closely with the Factory Manager, the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the smooth running of the production lines and general maintenance of equipment during your shift, with an emphasis on minimizing downtime. The types of equipment you will be working on includes: Silos and screw feeders, Mixing tanks, chimneys and cooling towers, Pumps and Valves, Motors, Gear Boxes, Pneumatics, Electrical Sensors, PLC’s, Conveyors and Ducting. In the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of operations when the Factory Manager is unavailable or off-site. The Maintenance Engineer will be carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and servicing on all Electrical and Mechanical plant and equipment.

Package:

£25,000 to £30,000

HOURS OF WORK: Whilst the factory operates a 3-shift rota it is envisaged that your hours of work will be 11.00am – 7.30pm Monday – Friday

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have previous multi-skilled experience as a maintenance engineer in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally, you will have previous team leader or supervisory experience
  • Forklift Truck experience/licence is preferred but training can be given.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
