Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 OTE: £40,000

Shifts: 4 on 4 off – days and nights (6am – 6pm / 6am – 6pm)

Benefits: Competitive salary and overtime

Location: Calthwaite, Penrith


A market leading Engineering company are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to add to their team at their modern site based in Calthwaite, Penrith.  This is a 4 on 4 off – days and nights shift pattern. The successful Maintenance Engineer will need to come from any Manufacturing or Distribution background.

This Maintenance Engineer will be joining a leader in its field and one that offers variety in their working day and a clear progression route should this be their aspiration. They also offer stability in todays market with production remaining the same.                         

Maintenance Engineer key skills / qualifications:  

Industry – FMCG or Food or Bottling or Recycling or Industrial or Pharmaceutical or Packaging or Production or Manufacturing.

Electrical – Previous experience working on 3 Phase, relays, sensors, drives, invertors, knowledge of faultfinding on PLC’S is desirable, however training is available.

Mechanical – Planned and reactive maintenance, mechanical fault Finding, experience of working on hydraulics, pneumatics, belts and bearings.

Maintenance Engineer salary:  £33,000 - £36,000 per annum + Overtime available.
