Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

They are currently recruiting for an Electrician with Fire Alarm experience to be based at a prestigious site in Liverpool. You will carry out Electrical PPM and Reactive Maintenance alomng with Fire Alarm repair and maintenace

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Electrician
  • Electrical Maintenance experience is desireable but not essential
  • At least 3 years previous experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer within the industry and extensive knowledge of different types of fire alarm systems
  • Good working knowledge of a wide range of control panels
  • Good working knowledge of BS5839 (Fire Alarm Regulations) and British Standards BS5266
  • Completed some or all FIA training units 1-5

Key Accountabilities:

  • Servicing of maintenance contracts in accordance with company operating procedures
  • Electrical PPM and Reactive Maintenance
  • Act as technical advisor to the client and report any issues affecting safe operation of the alarm system
  • Repair and maintain fire alarm systems identifying and replacing defective parts
  • Diagnose and repair faults
  • Test installations in accordance with manufacturers guidelines
  • Carry out small works installations
  • Travel between sites to respond to emergency call outs providing solutions and carrying out any remedial works
  • Report defects to client or maintenance managers – including completing work sheets via a tablet
  • Other duties as required
