Exciting opportunity for an experienced sales co-ordinator, ideally with an electro-mechanical or rail transportation background.

To develop and enhance the company's sales performance through the sale of trains to the customer.
Applying technical experience to sales expertise to provide a 'one-stop' solution for our customers. Collaborating with the sales team with bids and tenders for the customer from a technical and commercial perspective.
Management of the sale of the train to the customer.
Production of sales packs, including train information sales packs.
Development of long-term customer relationships through the management and interpretation of their requirements.
Liaison with our design department to determine customer specifications and requirements
Convincing clients that our products or services meets and satisfies their specification and scope in terms of quality, price and delivery;
Negotiation of tenders and contract terms and conditions to satisfy both customer and company requirements.
Providing after-sales support services and technical back up as required;
Maintaining sales and meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets.
Ensuring that company profit margins are met or exceeded.
Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
Qualifications & experience:
To be successful you will have a sound track record of delivering sales and services within a technical environment i.e. contract manufacturing, electronic systems, communications or transportation services
Relevant electro-mechanical qualifications; ideally degree qualified or HND level as a minimum.
Excellent IT skills, knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and ideally, Maximo.
