£45,000 - £55,000/annum

I'm currently working exclusively with a systems integrator in Bristol that are actively recruiting for a Senior Automation Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

I've worked with this company for the best part of a decade and can attest to the great working environment and excellent management that the company boast and I am delighted that they have steered a course through the uncertainty and are now looking beyond the lockdown.

One thing that has been apparent is that manufacturing companies, or any business that employs automated control systems, has had a chance to look at their business and start to realise that systems need updating and efficiency could be massively improved. This has led to a healthy order book, meaning that my clients reputation as a reliable and professional systems integrator is reaping the benefits of quality of work.

Right now they are looking for someone who has experience in Project Managing PLC / SCADA based projects (ranging in value between £70,000 up to several million). Within this role, they are also looking for someone who has experience in Contract Review & Management as they have identified a gap in their business for someone with this technical capability.

Key skills they are looking for:

  • End to end Project Management
  • Experience working with Automation & Control Engineer
  • Experience in writing bid and / or contract management

In the immediate term, this will be mostly home working but longer term you will be required to be on site for the majority of your time so it is important that you are able to commute to Bristol on a daily basis.
Salary on offer is £50,000 for the right candidate, with flexibility for the right person as well as a flexible working policy, pension and bonus.
