A UK-Wide recognised packaging manufacturer is now starting to look for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (With an electrical Bias) on a double days shift pattern. This business has 7 sites within the UK and is part of a large parent company with vast amount of backing and security offered.
Your new role
As the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be reporting into the Maintenance Manager whilst working on a double days shift pattern (6-2 and 2-10).;there is a dedicated night shift so you will only be asked to work night shifts sporadically to cover holidays / sickness. Each shift has two maintenance engineers working to ensure you're able to work as a team to overcome problems. Currently they operate a very reactive style of maintenance however, they're interested in moving towards a more planned and routine maintenance schedule (PPM).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer vacancy, you must have a strong understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance. Ideally you'll hold a HNC within Electrical Maintenance or you'll hold an 18th edition. It is crucial that you have gained the experience of working within a manufacturing facility previously.
What you'll get in return
As the Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be paid a salary of between £33,000 and £37,000 dependant upon your experience. In addition to this, you'll be entitled to a range of company benefits, including a generous holiday package.
