An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading, global manufacturer of equipment and machinery into the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries for a Field Service Engineer to cover the M62 corridor including Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Oldham, Rochdale and surrounding areas of the North West.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the UK Service Manager, the role of Field Service Engineer will see you being responsible for the maintenance and service of a range of electro mechanical machinery used in the pharmaceutical industries. Your role will be predominantly based around the North West, however you will get to travel into other areas of the UK to support the business therefore there will be a requirement to stay overnight during the week on occasion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Service of Electro Mechanical machinery
  • Maintenance and installation of equipment
  • Commissioning of equipment
  • Training operators on equipment use
  • Health and Safety on site

THE PERSON

In order to succeed in the role of Field Service Engineer ideally you will have one of the following backgrounds, Service, Installation, Commissioning, maintenance, RAF, NAVY, REME, Forces etc. If you have experience of working on medical equipment that would be great, however full equipment training will be provided. You need to be a flexible engineer who is prepared to travel around within the UK. Finally you need good communication skills and the desire to succeed in your chosen career of service.
