Design Engineer - Contract - Coventry

Amoria Bond are currently searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer for an Defence consultancy client based in the Midlands. The role will be working on Creo CAD software.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the high level detailed design components for defence equipment. You will be using Creo CAD software and involved in 3D modelling and assembly drawings/design for manufacture. The role will involve an element of mechanical engineering such as stress analysis and thermal management.

The role will be working on an exciting Defence project that is expected to last for the next 1-2 years time.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have the following skills & experience:
* Extensive experience in the defence/military sectors is essential
* A proven mechanical engineering background at either degree or HND/HNC qualification level
* Experience using Creo/Pro E CAD software (ideal however other CAD software's will also be considered)
* Experience with 3D modelling, design for manufacture and assembly drawings
* Knowledge of both stress analysis and thermal management and is able to challenge how something is design and manufactured
* Problem solving experience and able to explain how the product is designed
* An adaptable attitude as you will move between multiple different projects

The rates for this client are negotiable dependant on experience, and the role will be live in 2-3 weeks time.
