Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer;
- Engaging in a personal and career development programme to promote progression within the company.
- Full responsibility for a chemical manufacturing plant under COMAH regulations, overseeing Maintenance, Projects, Integrity and Management of both internal and external staff.
- Implementing Mech Eng standards whilst liaising with regulators (HSE/EA).
- Mechanical Engineer will be making and influencing decisions regarding maintenance regimes to maximise uptime, throughput, quality, and yield and optimise expenditure.
To be successful in this position as Mechanical Engineer it would be preferable to have a background working within Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear or Oil & Gas. Candidates require previous experience working on a COMAH regulated site and be degree qualified to BEng or MEng. I am also interested in speaking with candidates that have had experience working as Reliability Engineer, Asset Care Leader or Mechanical Engineer.
