As a production engineer, you will oversee new production introduction into mainstream production. Ensuring all the correct tools, jigs and fixtures are available.
Your New Job
We are looking for an experienced production engineer to own and be accountable for the production process. Developing, Growing and protecting the long-term efficiency of production. Managing the effective release of new products into production. Supporting the NPD team in design for the manufacture of future product releases. Co-ordination of all other departments for the successful transition of new products from design through to production. Developing and implementing new production methods to increase productivity on the production line. Managing cost containment. Responsible for checking jigs/fixtures that are involved in production are effectively used to maximise on productivity & profit. Develop various techniques to control production environments. Assist with the implementation of staff training programs. Estimating production times & costs. Establishing key relationships across the business. Checking BOM’s for structure & content. Producing and maintaining Process instructions for all product builds.
Your Experience and Requirements
We are searching for candidates who are ideally educated to degree level or equivalent relevant industry qualifications. Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools. Solidworks Composer, desirable, not essential
