RDR are recruiting for a Piping Engineering Manager on behalf of Engie Fabricom, to be based in their Head Office at Grimsby. This is available as a permanent opportunity and on offer is a competitive salary and high quality benefits package.

General Overview of the Piping Engineering Manager:

The Piping Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Piping Engineers to ensure delivery of complex and challenging technical solutions across a range of projects and technical areas, and for guiding and checking the technical solutions of more junior Engineers as necessary, on time and budget and in accordance with all relevant Engineering and Company procedures.

The Piping Engineering Manager is responsible for reviewing the technical solutions of others, and ensuring that they are the optimum in terms of time, cost and quality. They must also develop ideas and improvements that will offer advantages in allowing the Company to undertake project work more efficiently.

The Piping Engineering Manager will be familiar with all technical developments in their area of expertise and will bring developments in best practice, technology and legislation to the attention of the Company.

The Piping Engineering Manager will be the ultimate technical authority in their engineering discipline, and will undertake technical reviews of complex projects, working with discipline Engineers, to ensure that the technical solutions being delivered offer the best solution to the Company.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Degree in relevant discipline
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Be familiar with all relevant engineering and design software, with a good understanding of the availability and use of all relevant electronic tools and software.
