Newly created role for an Approvals Engineer / EMC Engineer to join a high-end audio electronics manufacturer and lead on their product approval, product compliance and EMC processes.

Joining the friendly R&D team, you'll be responsible for all regulatory approvals worldwide, including leading the approval and compliance processes, in-house EMC testing, coordinating external compliance testing with certification bodies, and conducting compliance audits.
You'll need a good understanding of electronics (degree level experience is fine!) and an interest in the development of music and audio technology products. You'll be supported by the R&D team and receive guidance and training to help you become the company expert for compliance, EMC testing and product licensing.

-Supporting processes for regulatory approvals and EMC testing
-Conducting EMC testing in-house
-Assisting in design and prototyping to ensure EMC compliance
-Working with R&D to identify and resolve quality, approval or safety issues
-Maintaining all quality, approvals, safety and certification documentation
-Coordinating external test activities with certification bodies
-Conducting compliance audits and assisting with third party factory audits
The person I'm looking for:
-Degree in Electronics, Physics or another similar subject
-Analytical and methodical mindset
-Interested in music technology and audio electronics
-Enjoys working in a team, collaborating and learning from others
