Process Improvement Engineer required to join leading global manufacturer in Craigavon

Your new company
As our clients latest Process Improvement Engineer you will be join a leading global manufacturer who specialise producing a range of multi purpose material handling vehicles. Our client have been an employer of choice in the local area for over 30 years and a recent expansion has seen them increase their head count at their Craigavon hospital.

Your new role
Taking on the role of Process Improvement Engineer you will report directly to the Global Quality Process Manager and play a vital role on the Global Process Improvement team. In your role you will deploy six sigma knowledge and concepts to improve productivity and enhance product quality while keeping cost down were possible. In this role you will lead strategic customer focused business improvements and embed Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques. You will work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to analyse and resolve advanced engineering and business issues. In this role you will become a Six Sigma mentor for employees within the global organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
To prove a success in securing the Process Improvement Engineers role you should be coming with a Degree in an Engineering related discipline and 5+ years experience in a process improvement related role. You should have substantial knowledge and experience of Six Sigma processes with either a Green or Black belt certification. Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel are essential.
