Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for a new role in Birmingham? If so, this role could be for you?

The Company
  • The company has been awarded for being in the top 20 multi-discipline consultancy in the UK

  • You will have the chance to grow work alongside professionals from all other disciplines
The Role
  • Producing external woks and drainage designs relating to medium to large development projects
  • Highway design a benefit but not essential
  • Produce flood risk assessments (FRA’s) and Drainage strategies
  • Supervise CAD Technicians
  • Represent the company at external meetings with clients and fellow professionals
  • Client meetings and site visits
The Candidate
  • Post-graduate experience in a similar role, ideally within a private practice
  • Good understanding of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreements
  • Experience in drainage (foul and surface) and minor road way design
  • Good working knowledge of Microdrainage or comparable drainage design software
  • Experience producing cad information and as such a knowledge of Civil3D or similar design software
  • 25 days holiday and study leave
