Manufacturing Engineer (Continuous Improvement)

Role Accountabilities: 

Apply Continuous Improvement methodology, such as Lean manufacturing, to enhance manufacturing quality / reliability / cost-effectiveness, in line with the principal accountabilities as detailed below:

  • Solid modelling CAD, CAM, for 3, 4, 5 axis machines using Solid Works
  • Design and troubleshoot of manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes
  • Design testing methods and test finished products or process capabilities, to establish standards or validate process requirements
  • Estimate production times
  • Evaluate / quantify manufactured products according to specifications and quality standards
  • Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing
  • Produce / review methods of manufacture (MOM) and internal drawings
  • Preparation of documentation for new manufacturing processes or amendments to engineering procedures
  • Investigate production issues with a view to reducing the number of re-works
  • Work and adhere to company / site HSE guidelines

Manufacturing Engineer (Continuous Improvement)

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Experienced with CADCAM
  • Must has Laser cutting experience
  • Must be keen to improve things however does not require formal qualifications form a CI point of view

  • Ideally have worked on 3, 4 and 5 axis laser cutting machines
