Job Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Watford

Salary: £36,000-£38,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

A fantastic opportunity to work for a M&E service provider who are recruiting for a M&E Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to work on a corporate site based in Watford. This is role is offering a salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience, With fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the industry.

Job Role:
You will be required to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime opportunities available.

The role of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from Electrical bias role to carry out the servicing and reactive repairs to electrical & mechanical services. Additionally the engineer will be expected to assist other trades as directed by the account manager.

Carry out routines unsupervised (PPM and reactive), diagnose and repair faults on electrical and some mechanical building services (L8, AHU maintenance, fire alarms, lighting testing, lighting repairs, pumps, motors, heating system fault finding and awareness (Heat exchangers, actuators, pipe work)

Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;

·Emergency lighting

·Fire alarm testing

·AHU’s, FCU’s

·Pumps, Motors


·Splits, VRV’s, VRF’s

·Fans, Belts, Filters

·General maintenance

Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have:

·The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications –Electrical City & Guilds

·With at least 5 years experience in Electrical services in the building services trade

·17th/18th edition preferably

·Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
