Are you a CNC Machinist looking for a role where you only work 4 days a week Monday to Thursday?
Do you want to join a company that will offer you a varied and interesting role working on low volume production?
In this role you will report to the CNC Production Manager and will be expected to set up and operate milling machines as well as handling manual adjustments in a one-off or low batch machining environment. You will work on the back shift which is 14:30 to midnight Monday to Thursday with the opportunity to come in early to pick up overtime.
This is a great role for a CNC machinist to join a company that will offer you the chance to develop your skill sets with a company that offers career stability.
*Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
*Mon - Thursday - 2:30 to midnight
*Work to tight machining tolerances and check your own work.
*Use manual measuring equipment, e.g. micrometers, verniers, thread gauges.
*Work to 2D drawings and job specifications
*Previous experience in a machining environment
*Ability to read and interpret 2D machining drawings
*Experience of hand finishing, bench fitting, hand-tapping, deburring etc. would be beneficial
