Maintenance Engineer

An excellent opportunity for an Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer working on a permanent employed basis, located in Huddersfield West Yorkshire with an excellent full round package on offer.

Working days are Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 17:00, Fridays 8:30 – 14:30, For the right candidate the hours of work could be flexible, however overtime is required and paid in additional to your salary at time and half.

Working as part of a maintenance team you will be required to carry out the following duties;

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager 

Follow Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules – PPM

Ensure the factory is following Health and Safety policies and procedures

Diagnose faults and repair

Complete necessary paperwork to follow companies procedures 

Knowledge and Experience in working with Pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Vacuum pumps, diaphragms and lathes is paramount, along with the ability to weld for ad-hoc projects and repairs.

This is a salaried position, £31,500 per annum, with additional over time at approximately £23.00 per hour, this opportunity could give you a circa of £200 a week extra for approximately 9 hours overtime a week, which could be done before working hours or after or Saturday mornings, giving potential earnings in circa of £40,000 + per year
