Manager of Design Engineering – Seismic - UK
Very senior leadership role at Director/ VP level.
Complex, high end multi discipline engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded Software, Signal processing, Software, Physics & Geophysics.

Wide ranging role including: management of 25-30 engineers in design & R&D team.
Also covers R&D, new product development, NPI, setting and delivering the technology strategy and management of the engineering function.
And promoting the technical capabilities of the company.
Working with others teams in: acquisition, processing and interpretation, and the ways in which they interact and affect each other.
This is wide ranging and lead role - Mix of management of engineering team as well as set technical direction for the company’s products.
You will have extensive senior engineering experience in both Mechanical, Electronic, Hardware & Software - Leading a team in UK and developing their new products for Seismic Design Engineering.
Working with Product Development & Sales to Project the company’s technical competence to clients, to let them know that not only can you undertake each project successfully, but you can do it better and more innovatively than their competitors.
- Degree in Engineering: any of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, IT.
- Hardware: Embedded Systems
- Electronics: Low noise
- Communications (any of: RF, Zigbee, Z-Wave, LORA, LTE)
- Seismic technology & electronic equipment – both hardware & software
- Microcontrollers: Linux, Yocto
- Design background in Electronics (&/ Mechanical) and Hardware & Software.
- Seismic technology & electronic equipment experience – both hardware & software.
Advantage to have Seismic land acquisition systems.
