Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Electronics Design Engineer to join our team producing innovative solutions. This is an exciting opportunity with long-term career prospects for a driven individual to take the first step on their career path within a creative and forward thinking organization.
What will you be doing?
Working as part of a team and utilising a wide range of exciting technologies, you will develop new products, systems and features.
You will be working alongside colleagues who have many years’ experience in product development and be involved in the full lifecycle, from feasibility to release to production and on-going support.
Your role will include:
- Contributing to the production of innovative designs against challenging user and performance
- Contributing towards the implementation of approved designs
- Ensuring all designs are fully tested and documented
- Collaborating with team members on detailed work breakdown
- Working with the Company’s adaptive development methodology to deliver systems that exceed customer expectations and achieve the highest quality
- Timely identification and communication of technical issues and risks
What experience and skills do you need?
You will have a passion for creating quality products.
You will be an excellent team player with a drive to continuously learn and develop showing flexibility to work with different people on different projects.
You will be able to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels; by telephone, face-to-face and in writing.
You will take a methodical and logical approach to problem solving, diagnosing and resolution.
It would also be an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following: · High-speed digital, analogue, optical electronic design · CADStar PCB design · Ethernet Networked product design · Firmware · EMC testing and approvals · Chromaticity · FPGA, VHDL/Verilog · Reliability prediction · Circuit simulation
Hours of Work: 36.25 (8.30am start- 4.30pm finish. 45 min lunch)
