My client is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join them on a permanent basis in North Wales.
The role would involve working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, rotating from 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am.
On top that they would also receive:
£7 - For every full 6am-6pm shift worked
£11 - For every full 6pm-6am full shift worked
LOCATION: North Wales
SALARY: £39,497.55 rising to £41,095.83 after a successful probationary period (Plus shift allowance of £7 for day shifts and £11 for night shifts, holidays and company pension)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Multi-skilled ideally with an electrical bias
- BS:7671 (Ideally 17th or 18th edition)
- Experience with fault-finding and diagnostics
- PLC system experience
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing/production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working within a reactive maintenance environment
Beneficial Skills & Experience
- Fabrication/welding experience
- Automotive industry experience
- Injection moulding
- Hydraulics or pneumatics experience
This role will be well suited to candidates with multi-skilled experience who are capable of working within a high-pressure environment. Potential problems are likely to range from electrical, mechanical, plumbing or gas. You may be expected to strip back pneumatic systems, rebuild gearboxes, problem solve on a PLC system or deal with gas problems on a heating system.
